Darkaynu & J-HAP 2022

We are looking forward to another year of amazing Darkaynu classes and JHAP collaborations! Last year we had a really great time at our virtual Darkaynu classes on Wednesday nights, and getting to meet in-person to celebrate the holidays at JHAP was the icing on the cake.

Darkaynu continues to meet virtually (and will for the upcoming year) because we found that it offers greater accessibility to any adult with transportation struggles. We’ve also had the great fortune of finding guests from all across America (and soon from Israel), since our Zoom guests can meet us from any location. We’ve enjoyed music, games, trivia, and more with our virtual guests, and are grateful for the opportunity to meet with them.

Since Darkaynu participants still like to meet in-person, we like to celebrate the holidays together with our friends at JHAP. We had a fun time celebrating Shavuot by planting flowers, making one-pan ziti, and having a drum circle. When the Torah was given at Mt. Sinai there was lightning and thunder, so what better way to remember that than to have a drum circle? Everyone had such a great time! Looking forward to a whole new year of events!

We are looking forward to another great year of Darkaynu and JHAP events with new guests and entertainment!
