Gateways Thrift Shop Summer Update!

Some people associate summer with taking a break, But not at the Sha’arim + Gateways Vocational Training Program! Trainees and volunteers were going strong all summer keeping things running smoothly and having a blast while they did! 

So, what have we been up to?

Around here, the training never ends and while we have all been honing our vocational skills, our staff has been diligently working to enhance curriculum and training modules for the coming programmatic year. We are excited to continue our partnerships with both Transition Plus and West Education Center. We’re excited to welcome the new trainees who will be joining us in less than a week. One of our favorite things to do is meet new trainees and make new friends! We’re excited to grow together this year. 

We’re also so grateful for the many, many donations of clothing and household items we have received over the summer months. Because of the continued support of our community we are able to offer our trainees varied and interesting training tasks, and at the same time, keep Gateways Thrift Shop stocked with fresh and exciting merchandise!
