Family Challah Bake

Last week Sha’arim + Gateways hosted our first Friends ‘N Fun Family – Family Friendly Challah Bake! We brought together families in the community who have children with disabilities and families of neurotypical children to get to know each other. Together, families got to make their own challah dough, braid the challah, and cover it in delicious toppings to bring home and enjoy. We also had fun activities and snacks for everyone to do while the dough was rising, including a challah-themed MadLib. It was such a joy to see families from across the Jewish community come together and have a great time.
