We believe every child in our community should have the chance to experience the joys of a meaningful Jewish summer camp experience.
We’re here to help make sure all Jewish campers get the support they need. Sha’arim + Gateways provides a unique service by supporting Jewish summer camps seeking to include Jewish children with identified needs in a mainstream camp setting. We bring our expertise right onto their own grounds, making sure they have the best opportunities to learn and grow, and build a lasting sense of Jewish community..

Step 1: Connecting with Sha’arim

Step 2: Becoming a Partner
- We’ll have our first meeting to get to know each other and understand your needs.
- Our team will visit your site or program to observe your unique experience and see how we can best support you.
- Together, we’ll create a plan tailored just for you, outlining how our partnership will work.
- We’ll develop a special package of services just for you, customized to meet your unique needs. This may include any number of services from our service menu, including camper intakes, program and behavioral consultation, and staff training.
Step 3: Partnership Structure
- Once we’ve agreed on the plan, partners will sign a service agreement.
- We’ll set up a smooth system of communication so we can stay connected throughout the summer and schedule out services as needed.
- If you are utilizing our camper intake services, we will walk you through the process of how to schedule those meetings.
- We’ll schedule regular consultations and observations to keep everything on track.
- We’ll provide training sessions to make sure all of your staff feel supported and confident in their ability to meet the needs of all campers.
