Chana Shagalow
Executive Director
Bringing 34 years of experience in education, Chana has served as the Program Director of Sha’arim since its founding in 1999. Chana spent her earlier years serving as a classroom teacher and went on to achieve a Master’s in Educational Leadership from St. Thomas University. In addition to her educational expertise, Chana brings her life experience as the parent and sibling of an individual with special needs. Chana also acts as an advocate and consultant for parents receiving diagnosis for their children. As its fearless leader, Chana lives and breathes the mission of Sha’arim.
